Moving To Live

When you sign up for AMEE access, you will be given a login for our staging server, stage.amee.com. This server should be used during development, but once you are ready to launch your application to the public, you will need to change over to our production systems at live.amee.com. This platform has guaranteed availability, and is faster than the staging server. Data on the staging server can also be removed at any time.

Approval Process

Your credentials will not work on live.amee.com unless approved by AMEE. To begin the approval process, visit my.amee.com, view your project page, and click "Go Live" in the dropdown next to the project you wish to make live. This will send a request to the AMEE team, who will get in contact to review your application for approval, and then enable you on the live server.

Criteria

There are a number of criteria that your application must satisfy before moving to the live server.

  1. Your application must perform calculations using the AMEE Profile API. You should create a profile for each user of your application.
  2. Your application code should not include any hardcoded Data Item UIDs, and should instead use the DrillDown API to get these at runtime.
  3. Take a list of the profile categories you are using, and email to help@…. We need this in order to check that the data you are using is available on the live platform.
  4. You will need to have a commercial agreement in place with AMEE.

Once you have confirmed these criteria are satisfied, and provided the required information, we can process your application. You should allow 72 hours for a key to be enabled on the live server.
